New Books and the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy

A couple of books, an an online resource, have “crossed our desk” that we would be remiss not to recommend:

  1. I’m pleased and relieved to announce the publication of my latest effort, Contingency and Commitment: Mexican Existentialism and the Place of Philosophy. The Amazon link is here.
  2. And check out Stefan Gandler’s magnificent, and recently translated from the Spanish, Critical Marxism in Mexico: Adolfo Sanchez Vasquez and Bolivar EcheverriaHere’s a link to a sort of overview of Stefan’s work, published in the APA Newsletter of Hispanic/Latino Issues in Philosophy

And,

  1.  of even more significance to our work here in the States, we have the recent publication of Guillermo Hurtado’s Philosophy in Mexico in the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy.
