Review of “Mexican Philosophy in the 20th Century”

Our friends over at Philosophy and Global Affairs have published a review of our 2017 anthology, which I’ll attach here. One thing I appreciate about the review is that its author, Joel Martinez, starts by noting how our dedication to the anthology captures the spirit of the essays in the text. We dedicated the text to “México, sus filósofos, y a quienes no conocen fronteras” and to “For all the would-be students of philosophy who could not find anything resembling their own experience.” Looking back, that project was a labor of love, for both of us, and I remember where I was sitting when I wrote those two lines, thinking, “Oh, man, we have so much work ahead of us.”
